The South Bend Regional Chamber and the South Bend - Elkhart Regional Partnership are teaming up to bring two Ramp Up READI 2.0 sessions to St. Joseph County. The first session will be held on Friday, November 17, from 8:30-11:00 a.m. at the St. Joseph County Public Library in downtown South Bend, in the learning center ballrooms A & B. The second Ramp Up READI 2.0 session will be held on Thursday, November 30, from 8:30-11:00 a.m. at Mishawaka City Hall. You can register for this event here.
The two sessions are part of six identical workshops being held across the South Bend Elkhart region to better understand READI 2.0, to gather input into the region’s one-, five-, and 10-year vision, and to detail next steps in READI funding. Both events are free.
The READI program funds capital projects in service of talent attraction and retention for the region. Your feedback during this input process will assist with our region’s application for READI 2.0 funding from the Indiana Economic Development Corp. (IEDC). The region’s application is due February 16, 2024. IEDC anticipates announcing regional awards in Q2 2024.
